Our Parish depends on many volunteers who help in many ways to make sure our various liturgies run smoothly. Please take
some time to read this page and consider if God is calling you to take part in any of these important ministries.

Hospitality Ministry
This ministry involves extending a warm welcome to those who gather for worship on Sunday. Responsibilities involve arriving
30 minutes before worship, greeting those who gather for worship, and making sure they have all necessary books/literature for
the liturgy.

Lector (Readers)
This ministry involves the proclaiming of the Word of God at our Sunday worship. Normally, those who commit to read can
expect to appear on the readers’ schedule every 5-6 weeks.

Servers
The ministry of servers involves assisting the priest during various liturgies. This ministry is open to all parishioners – young
and old alike.

Altar Guild
The ministry of the Altar Guild involves the preparation of the sanctuary for worship, preparing the altar for the Eucharist,
laundering linens used at the Eucharist, as well as decorating the sanctuary for special occasions.

St. Luke’s Choir
Our choir leads the congregational singing at worship on Sunday. From time to time, the choir also prepares special anthems
that enhance our liturgies. New members are always welcome!

Eucharistic Assistants
The ministry of Eucharistic assistants is to assist the priest at the Eucharist in the distribution of the Communion.
